EPW - Jules Jurgensen, Copenhagen, five-minute repeater, 52mm, heavy 18K gold original Jules Jurgensen HC with Jurgensen lips, five-knuckle hinges, glazed observation cuvette, bow with chain guards, white enamel SS dial, SW-bow-set, fully capped lever escapement with counterpoise, strike train jeweled to hammers, 27-35J, fausses-côtes pattern nickel damascene, s#14317 with matching serial number within case. Gross weight of assembled watch 85.2 dwt (132.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, winds fairly stiffly, frequent good repeat function and tone but occasionally strike returns with an occasional omission of one hour strike and with some unevenness to the speed of the five-minute strikes, overhaul recommended, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some toning of plate surfaces, some scattered micro-fine scratches; dial with cluster of light hls between 2:30 and 5, tiny surface nick below center; excellent hands, mild bend to tip of minute; case shows very light wear, scattered fine scratches to front and rear, some pinpoint nicks to band, no dents or dings, front hinge end-caps are brass replacements; bow pivots semi-freely and is thinned a bit at top, crown shows light wear; good glass crystals.
